Day 1 :
Transfer to the Gorilla jungle 4-6 hours of driving
Drive from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 4-5 or 6 hours)
Check-in at Bakiga lodge and relax
Afternoon bird watching around the lodge or nearby trails
Day 2 :
Gorilla Tracking in Uganda
Early morning gorilla trekking in Ruhija sector
Spend an hour observing and learning about the endangered mountain gorillas
Afternoon bird watching in the forest or nearby areas
Day 3 :
Departure
Full-day bird watching in Bwindi's diverse habitats, including forest, bamboo, and grasslands
Look out for species like the Handsome francolin, African Green Broadbill, Shelley's Crimsonwing hasn’t been seen for the last 12 years, however its sounds have been recorded often.
Return to Kigali in the evening (approx. 4-5 hours).
