This 4 days Rwanda Gorillas and Golden Monkey trekking safari starts and ends in Rwanda
Kigali. It gives us a chance of seeing the giant and gentle gorillas with a small remaining
population of about 740 in the Virungas and Bwindi Conservation area in the whole world. It
offers an opportunity to track the golden monkeys which almost share the same habitat
peacefully. lets trek through the densely forested slopes with professional guides to interpret all
the flora and fauna.

Day 01 :

Day 1: Arrival at the Kigali International Airport – Rwanda.

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, our representative from Africa Adventure Safaris will welcome you, and take you for the city tour around Kigali. You will visit the Genocide memorial, Belgium memorial, local markets, and other important areas in Kigali. You will then be transferred to Ruhengeri in Volcanoes National Park for dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 02 :

Day 2: 1st Rwanda Gorillas tracking day in Rwanda

Take an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcans for a briefing from the ranger guides. Begin trekking the mountain gorillas in the lush rainforest at the slopes of the Virungas. The guide will help you choose the easy to track group. We stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 03 :

Day 3: 2nd Gorilla tracking and Cultural walk

In the morning after your breakfast, you will drive back to the park headquarters to enjoy your second encounter with the gentle gorillas. After tracking, you will return for lunch and rest or go for a cultural walk in the Banyarwanda Community. Stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.

Day 04 :

Day 4: Golden Monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali

After a relaxed breakfast, you will either go to track the unique primates – golden monkeys or visit Karisoke Research Centre and hike the tombs of our great primatologist. In the afternoon, drive back to Kigali onward.
